Ellie, my little Morkie, has been in my life for the past 7 years. From the moment I became her mom, she has brought nothing but joy and love into my life. Despite being a little dog, she has a personality that is larger than life, and she truly thinks she's human. She's the furry love of my life, and I can't imagine my life without her.
Having Ellie in my life has opened my eyes, as I've come to realize just how much help animal shelters need. The sad reality is that there are countless animals out there who are just like Ellie - loving, affectionate, and in need of a forever home. Animal shelters do their best to provide these animals with a safe and comfortable place to stay, but they're often overwhelmed and under-resourced.
That's why I've become passionate about supporting animal shelters in any way that I can. Whether it's by volunteering my time, making financial donations, or raising awareness about these vital organizations, I feel a sense of duty to help animals who can't help themselves. Ellie has been the driving force behind my passion.
In fact, that's why I named my business "Dani and Ellie." As a Brazilian, my name is pronounced as "Daniellie", but everyone calls me Dani. When it came time to name my business, I knew that Ellie had to be a part of it in some way. And it wasn't until later that I realized that Ellie had been a part of my name all along.
Ellie has inspired me to be the best version of myself and to give back to a cause that I deeply care about. I hope that more people will join me in supporting animal shelters, whether it's by adopting a furry friend, making a donation, or simply spreading awareness about this important cause. Every little bit counts, and together, we can make a difference in the lives of countless animals who deserve a second chance at a happy life.
